A distinguished jury, headed by world-renowned
virtuoso Jaime Laredo, will award over 26 different monied awards
and other prizes for the outstanding performances. The IVCI juries
have a reputation for scrupulous fairness. This reputation has
grown in part from a unique scoring system that has reduced non-musical
factors to irrelevancy. Also, the jury members are chosen as much
for their expertise in adjudication as for their reputation as
international performers
